Asiatic Melvin A.K.A Almighty A.S.I (The Black Tarzan) is an American Rapper, Songwriter, Screenwriter, Record, and Television Producer from Brooklyn, NY. Who is the founder of Amasia Music in 2003 in South Carolina? later that year he relocated to Orlando Florida where he lay-ed down the foundation for Amasia Music until late 2006? He then relocated to Durham, NC where he started his TV show Amasia Music Videos which showcase music videos from signed and unsigned artist from around the world on Public Television station Durham Community Media (DCM) Ch 18 and the mother station The Peoples Channel (TPC) Ch 8 Chapel Hill, NC and neighboring cities, Hillsborough, Carrboro & Efland, NC.

In late 2012 he was diagnosed with 3 stage Cancer after receiving numerous Chemotherapy treatment. April 19th, 2013 he received the surprise that would change his life he was Cancer free. After all, he had been through he never gave up his love and passion for the Music and Television Industry and continued to push himself, regardless of his physical condition after how the Chemo treatment left him Physically. But one thing that never changed the whole time was, the Television Network reran all of his Episode until he returned Jan 2016. Upon arrival, he Changed the title of the show to Amasia Music Videos The Return. Now 2018 he has launched his App/Network on Roku TV, Amasia TV Worldwide. In The Community, he constantly speaks to others who suffer from Cancer by giving them hope and encouraging them with the strength and Knowledge to fight to survive. As an Independent Producer, he has an outlet Television, he uses to voice his opinion on the different topic that arises in the community to reach masses of people threw Television and is open to speak on the various topic that arises, for instance, gun violence ETC that constantly plague our Communities.

Asiatic Melvin is also an ex-Radio personality and DJ on WPEB 88.1 in the late 80’s owned by Sister Bey out of West Philadelphia, PA. He started alongside Bo the Poet radio show, which aired every Friday from 9 pm to 3 am. Months later Bo The Poet departed and he changed the show title to Almighty A.S.I Blazin The Streets where he interviewed all Artists promoting their new release from Major and Independent record labels and helped the nonprofit station create revenue to stay afloat. In the 80s he had produced Music for numerous Production Companies and Independent Record labels, like Twin Tower Record where he started out as President of A&R and moved up to Vice President alongside the President Andrew David (Andy Man) who taught him the Business part of the industry. He was responsible for the starting Career of Brooklyn rapper MC Swing fly who they released on Twin Tower Records his first Single Hard Copy overseas in Stockholm, Sweden Also while with Twin Tower Record he Promoted Janet Jackson after party with Virgin Record At Club Cooler following the Rhythm Nation concert at Madison Square Gardens. In the mid 90’s he worked doing promotion for Reggae Promotional company Rockwell Entertainment under Donovan Mattocks in NYC, where they Promoted Reggae Concert for Reggae Artists in and around the city. At the same time, he was head of Video Promotion and in-charge of bringing the star line up for Keyboard Money Mike Video show (Vibe Check) where he learned the in and out how to Produce a Television show.
